Potatoes can be cooked in so many different ways and most of the times it turns out good. Potato is used in curry, pakoda, and stir-fry also in sweets. Alugadde mosaru gojju is a traditional recipe, this yogurt based dish is served with warm rice. Very simple and healthy side dish.

Boil 4 potatoes and peel off the skin.

Smash the potatoes using hand / fork gently and transfer it into a mixing bowl.

Now take a pan add 2 tsp ghee and 1 chopped onion and 1-2 chopped green chili, fry for 2 min.

Take a bowl add mashed potatoes, 1/2 cup curd, fried onion and 1/2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.

Take a small pan add 1-2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 1 dry red chili and sauté 1-2 min.

Pour the tempering onto potato raita.

Mix well.

Alugadde mosaru gojju or kadhi ready to serve with steamed rice as side dish.
