Brahmi Chutney Recipe | Ondelaga Thambuli | Thimare Tambuli. Brahmi/ Ondelaga / Thimare / Centella is actually a medicinal herb that grows in the fields and is a powerhouse of nutrients. It’s very helpful for kid’s memory growth. Brahmi chutney is a best side dish for hot rice. Easy and quick recipe.

Brahmi Chutney

 1 Bunch of Brahmi leaves
 Tamarind small grape sized
 ½ cup Coconut grated
 2 Green chilli
 1 cup Buttermilk / Curd
 Salt to taste
 1 tbsp Jaggery
For tempering:
 1 tsp Oil
 ½ tsp Mustard seeds
 Few curry leaves

Making Brahmi Chutney, Clean and wash brahmi leaves.

Take brahmi leaves, tamarind small grape sized, 1/2 cup grated coconut, 1-2 green chilli, 1 cup curd, salt to taste and 1 tbsp jaggery in mixi jar.

And grind with little water.

Now prepare tempering, take a small pan heat 1 tsp oil, add ½ tsp mustard seeds and few curry leaves, and fry for a min.

Pour this tempering to chutney. Now chutney is ready and serve it with hot rice.
