Odupale | Odu Dosa | Kappa Roti | Karnataka Recipes | Traditional Dosa. Odupale is a kind of dosa. It is typically done on a clay tawa. Odu dosa or kappa roti is a dosa popular in Coastal Karnataka region.

 2 cups Dosa rice
 1 cup Coconut grated
 Salt to taste
 Water

Soak rice for 5 hours.

Drain off the water. Then grind with 1 cup grated coconut and salt to a very fine paste. Add water 1:3 ratio. Batter is ready.

Now heat clay tawa, it is important to keep the flame high.

Once tawa is hot, pour a ladle full of batter on tawa.

Do not spread the batter, cook 3-4 minutes.
