Sabudana Kheer | Sago Kheer | Sabakki Paysa. Sabudana kheer is probably the most common type of sweet and delicious food served on any special days like navaratri and deepavali.

Sabudana Kheer

 ½ cup Sabudana
 1 cup Sugar
 2 cups Milk (full cream)
 1 cup Water
 ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
 2 tbsp Raisins
 Few Cashews
 1 tbsp Ghee

Heat the ghee in a kadai and add the 1/2 cup sabudana. Keep stirring frequently to avoid burning, sabudana should puff double the size. Add 1 cup water and let it boil for 5 minutes or till the sabunda turns translucent.

Then Add 2 cups milk and 1 cup sugar, cook for some time in low flames.

Now Heat 1 tsp ghee in a small pan, add cashews and raisins fry till golden brown.

When the liquid thickens, add the roasted cashews, raisins and cardamom powder.

Sabudana Kheer is ready.
