Sponge Dosa | Majjige Dosa | Buttermilk Dosa | Dosa Recipes. Soft and sponge dosa prepared with rice, poha and buttermilk. Simple and easy breakfast recipe.

Soak 2 cup of dosa rice for 4 hours.

Then blend the soaked rice along with 1 cup thin poha, 2 tbsp grated coconut and 1 cup Buttermilk.

Transfer the batter to a large bowl. Cover and ferment for 8 hours.

Now Add water if required then add salt and mix well.

Heat tawa with little oil, pour a ladleful of batter onto a hot tawa. Then spread ½ tsp oil or ghee over dosa.

Cover and allow cooking on a medium flame for a minute.

Then flip the dosa other side and cook.

The dosa turns to be full of holes and very soft. Serve with sambar or chutney.
