Ingredients

 1 Large potato
 1 tsp Red chilli powder
 Salt to taste
 Oil

Directions

Peel the skin of potato and slice it.

2

Soak these slices in chilled water for 15 minutes.

Further, drain and pat dry over a kitchen towel, this prevents oil from spluttering.

Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, take the sliced potato one by one and deep fry.

Drain the potato chips and place them on an absorbent paper so that excess oil is absorbed also immediately, sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder over chips and mix gently.
