Directions
In a bowl soak 1 cup moong dal for 3 hours.
Drain off the water and grind with 1 green chilli, 1 inch ginger, 1 tsp cumin seeds, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 2 tbsp coriander seeds and a pinch of asafoetida. Add some water to get smooth paste.
Transfer the batter to the bowl and add salt to taste and mix well.
Now heat tawa with little oil, pour a ladleful of batter onto a hot tawa and spread gently. Then spread ½ tsp oil or ghee over dosa.
Cover and allow cooking on a medium flame for a minute. Then Apply garlic chutney on top.
Moong dal dosa is ready.
