Aate ki sweet recipe made with wheat flour and milk powder. This sweet recipe are shaped like small buttons and hence it is popularly referred to as button mithai recipe.

Ingredients

 1 ½ cups Wheat flour
 1 cup Milk powder
 ½ tsp Baking powder
 1 tbsp Ghee
 ½ cup Warm milk
 Oil
For sugar syrup:
 2 cups Sugar
 2 cups Water
 ½ tsp Cardamom powder

Directions

1

Take a bowl add 1½ cup wheat flour, 1 cup milk powder and ½ tsp baking powder.

Add 1 tbsp ghee and ½ cup warm milk.

Knead to a smooth and soft dough.

Now roll the dough to a slightly thick thickness, then cut into small circles using a cap of the bottle.

Repeat the process.

Heat oil in a pan and drop one by one circle.

Stir occasionally and fry until it turns golden brown.

Drain off the buttons over kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.

For sugar syrup:

Take 2 cup sugar, 2 cup water and ½ tsp cardamom powder.

Stir and boil for 2 minutes or until the sugar syrup turns sticky.

Drop the buttons into the sugar syrup. Soak in sugar syrup and rest for 2 hours.

Garnished with chopped pista.

Cooking Directions Step by step
